Friends of Louis Jacobs.org is an online archive of the writing and teachings of Rabbi Dr Louis Jacobs. We aim to be an online and offline forum for people from all religious backgrounds to examine contemporary Jewish thought, theology and practice. Our objective is to equip all Jews to enjoy an informed and intellectually coherent engagement with Judaism.

Last week Tamar Ross of Bar Ilan University spoke at South Hampstead Synagogue. Her lecture, along with one delivered by James Kugel, was part of the Arguments for the Sake of Heaven series run by the Oxford Centre for Hebrew & Jewish Studies and Friends of Louis Jacobs.
